 Everyday Things for Earth Hour day 14, iconic designer Marion Deuchars reminds us to use our feet.

“I love the words BORN TO WALK.

I think it is a nice mental mantra to remind ourselves what our bodies are actually designed to do, walk and run!

It’s easy to forget when slumped over a computer screen or behind the wheel of a car. I was working on my story book of  Bob the bird at the time I was asked me to work on Everyday Things and those words just jumped out at me in juxtaposition with Bob’s skinny legs.

I know birds are designed to ‘fly’ but they also walk more than we think and I thought it was quite funny to combine the two.”
