Spokespeople by HarrimanSteel
To inspire us to cycle, London design agency HarrimanSteel have created five new companions for the original ‘Spokesperson’ that they created for our Earth Hour campaign. The six Spokespeople, who can be bought as a set of six posters for £45, all voice a passion for pedaling and encourage others to join the cycling club.
“We all cycle at HarrimanSteel,” says Nick Steel. “For us it’s about fitness, exploration, freedom and self-expression. It’s not just about getting from A to B. A bike is not only a mode of transportation, but an extension of one’s personality (in the same way a dog looks like its owner). Our Spokespeople are a tongue in cheek expression of this thought and the simple idea that two wheels are better than four. Better for you. Better for the environment. Better for all.”
Some people think that all cyclists are angry, but they’re wrong. In fact cycling is proven to make us three times happier than solo car drivers. It gives us calves and quads to die for and it gives us a warm feeling to know we’re doing something good for the planet.
With winter just around the corner, this useful checklist will help you get geared up for the wet weather ahead.
