Dear Luis,

We were a little disappointed to see that you had failed to heed the (alarmingly prescient) advice we sent your way last year. Although fans of what you get up to with a football, we have a few concerns about your appetite. After all, we already eat too much bloody meat.

Our desire to see a reduction in meat consumption extends to the tender shoulders of Italian footballers flown halfway round the world

However, we are just as saddened by you and your teammate’s predilection for a meaty barbecue. Tasty, maybe; environmentally conscious, definitely not. Give the meat a miss!
