It’s Better by Stairs by Dan Craig
It’s not that hard to do the green thing. Everyday we face little decisions that can make a big difference, where the green option not only benefits the planet but our own wellbeing.
For example, walking past the lift and taking the stairs. Not only does it save energy – a lift consumes the same amount of energy in 15 seconds as a lightbulb does in a whole day – it’s also great for our bodies. Taking the stairs reduce rates of heart failure, and burns 700% more calories than stuffing yourself in a lift does.
You also feel like a hero when you get to top. And in a small but not insignificant way, you are.
