Pentagram designer Alex Johns has created a poster that references the visual language of ‘get rich quick’ fly posters, applying the same approach to the spiralling issue of overconsumption. His solution? Just buy less.

Why?

We must overcome our obsession with ‘more’. Hatchbacks, snapbacks, laptops, crop tops, iPads, iPods, sweatshirts, mini skirts. You name it – we are consuming too much of it, and it’s fuelling the increasing amount of carbon we are releasing into the atmosphere.
