Daniel Weil’s Everyday Thing – Flower Glass
We believe that creativity is an incredibly powerful tool that can inspire, seduce and provoke people into action. For our latest campaign, the Everyday Things collection, we’re apply this thinking to a new canvas – everyday objects.
For Earth Hour 2015 we have teamed up with WWF-UK to bring together world-class designers and artists to create a collection of everyday objects that inspire people to live more sustainably.
We’ve rounded up some great contributors including Ron Arad, David Shrigley, Daniel Weil, Hudson Powell, NousVous, Freeman Lau, Yair Neuman, Marina Willer, Mac Premo, James Joyce, Jessica May-Underwood.
Naresh Ramchandani, co-founder of Do The Green Thing and partner at international design studio Pentagram, said: “In our collaboration with WWF-UK for Earth Hour we have asked extraordinary artists and designers from around the world to create a series of everyday objects to inspire us all to be kinder to the planet. The objects they have created are clever, resourceful, thought-provoking and beautiful, and I believe they will inspire many people to be more sustainable in their everyday lives.”
We’ll be releasing the collection throughout March through our social media in the countdown to Earth Hour on 28th March.
