Why?

Every pair of jeans, jumper, skirt and shirt is significant in its impact on the environment.  It takes 1/3 pound of synthetic fertilizers to grow just one pound of raw cotton, and it takes around one pound of raw cotton to make a single t-shirt.

How?

Cotton can still be worn with a free conscience, just make sure it’s organic to avoid pesky pesticides. Binning any clothing is a sin – recycle or upcycle your clothes when you’ve finally worn them out.
