“The views from my artist studio in East London show two realities that coexist everyday: regular traffic jams display trapped commuters relaying on predesigned routes and timetables that garnish the city with apologetic text messages and unary phone calls,” says Iker. “Behind the noise and the piles of vehicles Regents Canal appears nice and clear. Lots of people walk their way to many different destinations by using this beautiful journey that from the traffic jam it looks nothing but an illusion.
